I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
